The DELF Scolaire (the school version of the DELF) is intended for students in middle and high school. It includes four diplomas corresponding to the first four levels of the CEFR: A1, A2, B1, and B2. The tests are identical to those of the DELF (four tests assessing the four skills: oral comprehension and expression, and written comprehension and expression). The topics are suitable for a teenage audience, and the diplomas are awarded exclusively in schools.

This certification allows:

to the students: to obtain

  • an internationally recognized diploma, a first-rate tool in a multilingual Europe
  • school credits for the state exam
  • eligibility for French language exams at Italian universities
  • an entrance to French universities without a language test
  • facilitated access to the European Erasmus and Leonardo programmes and to over 180 Italian-French double diplomas

to teachers: to verify their teaching thanks to a reliable tool

to schools: to introduce added value to the curricula they propose

Registration Procedures and DELF Regulations

Registration through a contact teacher (in the case of a group registration referring to a school):

  • The teacher can collect the paper registration forms together with the payment receipts and send them (via email: info@alliancefrge.it) or deliver everything to the Alliance française secretariat (Via Garibaldi 20)

Individual registration:

  • The candidate can fill out the paper form and send it together with the payment receipt via email to info@alliancefrge.it or deliver it to the AF office (Via Garibaldi 20)

ATTENTION:

REGISTRATION IS CONSIDERED VALID ONLY IF A REGISTRATION FORM CORRESPONDS TO A PAYMENT RECEIPT.

  • Students with special exam requirements (SEN, DSA, disability, etc.) must be notified at the time of registration. To implement any measures required by the regulations, a medical certificate must be submitted by email at the time of registration. It is not necessary to provide a detailed medical certificate, but it is essential that it is issued by a competent authority and outlines the recommended measures to allow for an exam in a foreign language. The Alliance Française reserves the right to contact the instructor for any specific information. With this document, we can apply the recommendations of France Education International. (Terms and Conditions)

  • No refunds are provided. In the event of illness, candidates must report their absence by the day of the exam and submit a medical certificate by the following day. Only then will they be able to attend the next exam session without paying any additional fee.

NOTIFICATION FOR EXAMINATION TESTS

The Alliance will email individual invitations (with the location, date, and time of the group tests and the individual oral exam) directly to the instructor in charge, who will deliver them to the candidates, or (in the case of individual registration) directly to the interested party. It is therefore important to enter your email address in a legible format.

The dates and times of the call may be changed only in the event of a justified impediment (medical certificate) and only for the oral exam. The individual oral exam may also be held on a different date than the group exams. Any errors regarding personal information on the call must be reported promptly before the exams, as reprinting a diploma costs €30.00 (to be paid by the interested party).

  • On the day of the tests, candidates must arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tests with a written invitation, an identity card (or photo identification), and a pen (no additional materials will be permitted). Candidates will not be admitted to the test room after the start of the tests.

COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS

  • The results will be communicated via email as soon as they are available (approximately within a month of the tests).

  • Diplomas will be available after approximately four months and can be picked up at the Alliance Française during office hours. For schools that opted for mailing upon enrollment, diplomas will be mailed directly to the school.

  • Reprint Duplicates in Case of Lost Diploma
  • In the event of loss of the diploma or reprinting of the diploma due to changes or corrections, a duplicate may be issued upon written request to the exam center. The duplicate will be issued within three months of receiving the application and will incur a €30 fee payable by the candidate.
